NIKKI SI'ULEPA
Trainer / Founder
Nikki has been immersed in the NZ screen industry since 1995, wearing many hats — writer, actor, director, and camera operator. Her work has been recognised with awards both at home in Aotearoa and abroad in France, Italy, and the U.S.
In 2021, she created ScreenFit to bring creatives together — a space where writers, actors, and directors can stay connected, stretch their craft, and remain “screen fit.” What began as an idea has grown into a vibrant, fun, and inclusive community grounded in collaboration, creativity, and courage.
Outside of ScreenFit, Nikki continues to act, write, direct, and teach acting for screen. She is a co-founder of PISA (Pacific Islands Screen Artists), where she served as the organisation’s inaugural President and as an original Komiti member. She continues to develop and research her slate of film and series projects and empower indigenous and queer stories.
